ADHD in Teenage Girls

Tess March 15th, 2006

For a long time doctors believed that children can outgrow ADHD, especially with the help of ADHD treatments. However, it has been established now that this situation can persist through adulthood. This is true especially in the case of girls because ADHD can be undiagnosed for a long time.

It has been found that girls are normally afflicted with inattentive type ADHD which is really difficult to diagnose because such children are not overtly active. Also, since girls normally put in extra effort to hide their academic difficulties, correct diagnosis becomes even more difficult.

Garlic can clear out your pores. Apply this paste to your face. This will make your skin tingle.
Recipe: Peel and mash eight fresh garlic cloves (or, iuse crushed garlic from a jar).

Leave on your face for 15 minutes. Wash off with a warm cloth. Results: Very smelly. Garlic gets even smellier as it rinses off, but the good news is that dead skin comes off with it.

If you can stand the stink, try it. Keep it away from your eyes.

by Tess Thompson

Generalized Anxiety Disorder is the most difficult of the anxiety disorders to diagnose because it lacks many of the more dramatic symptoms of other disorders. People with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) are not always prone to panic attacks, for example, and do not necessarily fear social situations. GAD usually includes subtler symptoms, such as excessive worry about things like work, family, health or money, and can be accompanied by physical symptoms that include muscle twitching, headaches, sweating, or gastrointestinal trouble. The National Institute of Health classifies a specific symptom of GAD as being excessive worry or anxiety occurring more days than not for at least a six month period. Many who experience this can begin to feel frustrated and helpless, but there are a variety of successful treatments and therapy that can help restore patients to a normal life.
