The inattentive type of adult attention disorder is the second most common amongst the six commonly known types of ADD. The irony is that these symptoms of adult attention deficit disorder often go unnoticed and are the most difficult to diagnose. We often refuse to associate symptoms like difficulty with time or money management, organization, or communication skills with ADD and tend to, either consciously or inadvertently, avoid or delay adult ADD medication.

Attention Deficit Disorder manifests itself in many ways. Thos who are diagnosed early in life have the added advantage of trying out various therapies before the condition becomes more pronounced and complicated.
People can experiment with naturopathy, massage therapy, homeopathy and herbal remedies for ADD before deciding the one that suits them the best. ADD treatment need not only involve strong medications with side effects. And if you can zero on to the herbal options that suit your specific body, there is much to gain.

Breast cancer is a reality many women will have to deal with. Statistics show that one woman out of nine will develop breast cancer in her life. Whether it be a dear friend, a close family member or herself, every woman will be touched by breast cancer in one way or the other. Breast cancer accounts for about 30% of all cancers.

Though there has been no research that proves the positive role that diet plays in managing ADD symptoms, many parents and practitioners swear that removal of certain elements in the diet can reduce the ADD symptoms to a large extent. The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry also believes that removal of certain food colors can actually alleviate symptoms.

NEW YORK (Reuters) — Overweight children who are victims of bullying are less likely to engage in physical activity, new research suggests. Dr. Eric A. Storch, who led the study said: “The health implications of this are clear in that these youth will receive less activity,” making it more difficult for them to shed pounds.
Most children are bullied at some time in their childhood, but overweight children are particularly vulnerable to playground taunts.
