What is insomnia and is it a sleeping disorder? To answer these questions you need to know what a sleeping disorder is and what does it mean when someone has insomnia.
When someone is said to have insomnia they have a condition in which they are having difficulty either falling asleep or staying asleep. Individuals with insomnia may fall asleep quickly, but then wake up too soon and have trouble getting back to sleep. Others with insomnia can’t fall asleep. Either way, they have poor-quality sleep that leaves them feeling unrefreshed, and unable to function properly because they do not feel alert during the day.

While many parents struggle to keep their toddlers away from the TV, there are others who have to deal with active toddlers who are constantly on the move and who look for avenues to attract their parents’ attention all the time.
Parenting an active toddler can be challenging and only apt parental care can help such children in developing into responsible adults. You may have successfully set the limits during early age about acceptable and unacceptable behaviors through non-verbal actions but as your child turns into a toddler it is time to learn about the meaning of specific actions that the child indulges in.

Great technological successes and access to all comforts at a click or a phone call has put the Western society in a position which is the envy of the underdeveloped world. However, there is a flip side to it also.
Modern day lifestyles that are more inclined towards materialistic gains have led to a situation where spirituality, diet and health are ignored at the cost of making it ‘big’ in life. What we fail to realize at times is that comforts and facilities are relevant and pleasurable only if we are in good health and are able to enjoy them.

Acne goes beyond the occasional pimple or blackhead. Real acne is a skin condition characterized by clogged pores and bumps, inflammation and redness. It can be disfiguring and embarrassing to the people who suffer from it.
Some people turn to over the counter remedies or prescription treatments to try and cure their acne problems. Sometimes, this works. Other times they find that the harsh cleansers and medications irritate their skin condition more, causing it to peel, itch, or burn. They may even see their acne getting worse as a result of their efforts.
