Herbal Treatments for High Blood Pressure

Tess April 17th, 2006

Taken internally by tincture or infusion

* garlic (clove)
* hawthorn (flowers, berries)
* linden (blossom)
* wood betony (leaves, flowers)
* yarrow (leaves, flowers)

Add 15 g. herb to 500 ml water for an infusion or take up to 2.5 ml tincture 3 times a day.

Eating a clove of garlic a day has a positive effect on blood pressure. If you cannot stomach the taste of chewing garlic, cut the clove into pill-sized pieces and swallow with water as you would a medication.
