It is important that you be able to recognize the early signs and symptoms of tendonitis because if it is not treated it can worsen and cause severe pain and immobilization of the joint.
The symptoms of tendonitis can be anything from very mild pain or irritation to severe pain and extreme discomfort. As tendonitis develops the symptoms will worsen. The more severe the symptoms you are experiencing the more serious the tendonitis is. The earlier you recognize the symptoms of tendonitis the earlier you can begin treatment for tendonitis.

Although the cause of Psoriasis is not entirely understood, scientists have suggested that it may be caused by a malfunctioning immune system. The affects of the disease is mainly thought of as a skin condition but it does affect joints too.
Psoriatic arthritis is the type of psoriasis where the joints are swollen, painful and stiff very similar to arthritis. Psoriatic arthritis can be serious, causing bone loss as well as deformed joints. A statistic from the National Psoriasis foundation put an estimate of about 10% - 30% on the number of people with psoriasis who also have psoriatic arthritis.

Arthritis, a leading cause of disability in people above 55, is a combination of conditions primarily related to damage of the joints of the body. There are seven primary forms of arthritis:
* Osteoarthritis - a degenerative joint disease due to infection or simply due to aging.
* Rheumatoid Arthritis - An autoimmune disease caused by deficient immune system health , which starts attacking the body’s normal cells.
* Septic Arthritis - An infectious condition.
* Gout - Caused by deposition of uric acid crystals.
* Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis - It mostly affects children and the causes are unknown.
* Still’s Disease - Another form of Juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
* Ankylosing Spondylitis - A degenerative inflammatory condition that has genetic undertones.

Simply put, spinal stenosis is the narrowing of the spinal canal. The narrowing of the spinal canal occurs as part of the ageing process in some cases. The shrinking spinal canal puts pressure on the nerves causing inflammation and pain. When, accompanied by a degenerated disc the condition can cause unbearable pain.
Spinal stenosis is almost never the reason for sciatica pain among patients under 50 years of age. But among the older people, the ageing process causes a degradation of the vertebrae. Sharp pointed projections tend to appear on the spine and it is these projections that pinch the sciatic nerve and cause pain.

Back pain has the potential of hampering your daily work schedule. Most likely it will restrict your mobility and may not let you go about your daily household chores. A proper diagnosis is a must for any effective back care treatment because if it turns out to be case of sciatic pain it will require a specific direction in the treatment that you are administered.

The healing process explained
Healing is about more than cure. While it is important for tissue to heal, for bones to knit and for regeneration to take place, healing also occurs on a deep emotional level. In order to heal, we also need to be nurtured, to feel safe and loved and to be cared for. We need to put aside our worries and stresses and focus inward in order to harness the natural ability of the body to heal itself. The best healers are those who are able to nurture their own spirit and release the healing process from inside.
